Putah Creek Piece

A project done as an environmental installation and 8mm film in Putah Creek, Davis, CA, circa 1969.
Putah Creek Piece is an approximately 10 ft., (3 m) diameter x 2 ft. (.6 m) deep, floating pool of polyethelyne plastic and pvc pipe was filled with clear city water forming an encapsullated lens in the turgid and semi-stagnant waters of Putah Creek. The pool was allowed to drift for several days untill removed by campus maintenance personel.
