Rapson Group / Site Index are two complex, multi-phased, public art projects based on geologic and biologic concepts and research, for the College of Design at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN (UMN). The project is a conceptual and landscape response to new Steven Holl designed annex to College of Design. The projects also respond to the original building designed by Ralph Rapson, after whom the whole College of Design facility is named. Site Index, was developed in collaboration with Rebecca Krinke, Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture at UMN. Rapson Group was developed by John Roloff.
